The Honourable Everett Hindley, Minister of Education
A new school year is here! We are excited to wish all students, teachers and support staff a great school year.
With the new school year on the way, we’re focused on giving students their best start. Here’s what we’ve got planned this year:
60+ new or replacement schools built across the province with 26 more on the way
Specialized support classrooms expanding to 200+ schools, starting with 50 this year
$2M boost for K–3 reading programs to build strong foundational skills
500 new teachers to address classroom complexity and support every student
We’re making sure every student in Saskatchewan has the tools to learn, grow, and thrive.
